HYGIENIC ENGINEERING AND DESIGN CONFERENCE

The First Conference for Hygienic Engineering and Design in the Republic of Macedonia will take place on 9th of October, 2012, at the Municipality Karpos Conference Hall in Skopje.

Invited speaker on this Conference are:

  • Mr. Huub Lelieveld from Netherlands, one of the founders of European Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG), founder and President of Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI), former Secretary-general and President of the European Federation of Food Science & Technology (EFFoST) etc. This internationally recognized leader of multidisciplinary research and development projects in food industry will speak on the topics of Hygienic engineering and design requirements for buildings and EU legislation, standards and codes regarding hygienic engineering and design
  • Prof. Dr Vladimir Kakurinov from Macedonia, President of the Macedonian EHEDG Regional Section, who will speak about hygienic engineering and design requirements regarding machinery and equipment

This event will be attended by the representatives from: food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, food machinery, equipment and components manufacturing companies, companies supplying engineering services, Food and Veterinary Agency and inspection bodies.

10th EHEDG MACEDONIAN REGIONAL SECTION INFO-DAY (SKOPJE)

This EHEDG Info-Day took a place in the Economic Chamber of Macedonia at 28th of February 2012. The event was organized by the EHEDG Macedonian Regional Section. Main topic of this Info-Day was hygienic engineering and design of Buildings for the pharmaceutical and food industry. The hygienic engineering and design for objects is the basic prerequisite for safe production of food and pharmaceutical products, and in the same time it is a legal obligation in accordance with domestic and foreign legislation.

At this info-meeting, EHEDG Macedonian Regional Section President, Prof. Dr Vladimir Kakurinov, who is also a member in EHEDG Subgroup for Building Design, spoke about all legal and practical requirements for building hygienic Buildings in food and pharmaceutical industry.

Mrs. Aleksandra Markovska, Food Consulting CEO, presented all her experiences as an EHEDG member and explained her membership and work in the same EHEDG working group.

The meeting was attended by more than 30 representatives from civil engineering and architectural companies engaged in food industry design and building (construction), equipment producers, producers and distributors of materials and components intended for food and pharmaceutical companies, food and pharmaceutical companies, and media.





11th EHEDG MACEDONIAN REGIONAL SECTION INFO-DAY (SKOPJE)

On the 25th of April, 2012, another info-meting of the Macedonian regional section of EHEDG was held, in the Commerce Chambers of Macedonia.

The accent of this Info-Day was placed on the hygienic engineering and design of the Equipment and its components and Machinery intended for food production and processing.

The event raised huge interest and was attended by more than 50 participants, representatives from food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, companies for the manufacturing of food machinery, equipment and its components, companies supplying engineering services, inspection bodies.

National television Telma in special edition (solely dedicated to this event) and the newspaper Nova Makedonija covered the event.

The main speaker, Prof. d-r Vladimir Kakurinov, EHEDG Macedonian Regional Section President, beside this topic discussed the benefits from EHEDG membership and participation of Macedonian companies representatives in EHEDG subgroups which are developing EHEDG Guidelines.

The participants were more than satisfied from this very informative Info-day and expressed their interest for next meeting and EHEDG training.


TRANSLATION OF EHEDG GUIDELINES

This year (until August) EHEDG Macedonian Regional Section translated 7 EHEDG Guidelines in Macedonian languages (one per month, as planned in the activity plan for 2012). Each selected Document was translated in Macedonian first and afterward it was given for proofreading to experts for the topic that is elaborated in the Document.

Until the end of the year, EHEDG Macedonian Regional Section will translate 5 more EHEDG Guidelines (which will be added appropriately to the following list of already translated Guidelines):
